American Business Women's Association (ABWA) is a prestigious national organization originally established for working women and women business owners. It is an honor and priviledge to serve as the 2015-2016 President of the South East Express Network (SEEN) local league of ABWA.
I invite you to visit the national website (www.abwa.org) to learn more about our national organization and browse our local webpage (www.seen-abwa.org) to see some of the fun things we have done as well as see some of our past educational meeting speakers.
My goals for ths year are:
- To assist in networking and marketing products and services of our member business owners and professionals
- To address expectations expressed from the 2015-2016 member survey in order to retain a strong team of current members
- To connect and build relationships with potential new members through community outreach including reaching out to college students with entrepreneurial aspirations
- To be fiscal responsible for the League's resources
The mission of ABWA is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition. Our growing group of dynamic women (and men) in Pearland, Texas is a place to Connect - Learn - and Grow.
Join me and my team in welcoming current members and new members as we work together changing women's lives one woman at a time. ABWA has been doing it since 1949. Together, we can make this year a star-studded year of excellence!!! I would love to have you as my guest at Spring Creek Restaurant the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 am.
